Delete Your Silloria Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your Silloria account and what happens to your data when you do. Silloria is published by Impresa Marketing and is available on the App Store and Google Play, and at silloria.com.
1. How to delete your account
In the Silloria app
- Open the Silloria app and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to the You tab, then open Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out. No email or support request is required, and there is nothing to wait for.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@silloria.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
2. What is deleted permanently
The following are erased and cannot be recovered:
- Your account and sign-in credentials — email address, password, and any linked Apple or Google sign-in, along with all active sessions.
- Your profile — display name, username, biography, gender, country, avatar and cover images, social links, and streaks.
- Your collection — wardrobe, wishlist, bottles, wear logs, and custom collections.
- Your ratings and votes — every note, performance, season, sentiment, social and pros/cons vote, plus review and reply votes.
- Your personalization — taste preferences, taste snapshots, archetype assignments, and Concierge picks and feedback.
- Your social graph and messages — follows, blocks, mutes, direct messages and conversations, posts, comments, bookmarks and reactions.
- Your alerts and notifications — price alerts and your notification history.
- Your uploaded images — avatar and any creator media, including drafts.
3. What is kept, and why
A small amount of data remains, but it is no longer connected to you or to any information that identifies you:
- Public reviews and replies are anonymized, not deleted. Other people have read and voted on them, and community ratings are built from them, so removing them would distort the ratings shown to everyone else. Your authorship is severed: they are reassigned to an anonymous placeholder and no longer carry your name, username, or avatar. If you want a specific review gone entirely, delete it in the app before deleting your account — reviews you have already deleted are erased permanently.
- Scan history and subscription events are unlinked. The record that a scan or a subscription event occurred is kept for fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, and product reliability, but the link to your account is set to null, leaving no way to tie it back to you.
- Fragrance entries you submitted to the catalog remain in the catalog as unattributed. They are shared reference data that other people rely on.
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. We do not control these. Subscriptions are billed by the app store, so deleting your Silloria account does not cancel an active subscription — see below.
We keep no backup copy of a deleted account beyond routine encrypted database backups, which are retained for 30 days and then overwritten.
4. Cancel your subscription first
If you subscribe to Silloria Premium, deleting your account does not cancel or refund it, because the subscription is managed by the app store rather than by us. Cancel it before you delete your account:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Silloria → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Subscriptions → Silloria → Cancel subscription.
5. Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove most of your data. In the app you can delete individual reviews, remove fragrances from your wardrobe and wishlist, clear wear logs, delete price alerts, and edit or clear your profile details at any time.
