Kevin Scozzaro
Kevin Scozzaro grew up in New Jersey with what he calls a "humble" background, holding down construction jobs while attending school. The fragrance industry was not his original destination. He stumbled into perfumery sideways, working as a perfumer's assistant, and something about the craft hooked him. He pursued it seriously from there. Over twenty years, he has built a steady, respected career at the industry's most prestigious houses, climbing from assistant to senior positions at IFF before joining Givaudan's East Hanover facility as Senior Perfumer in 2017. In 2024, Givaudan recognized his consistent excellence by naming him a Consumer Products Master Perfumer. What distinguishes Scozzaro in a field of specialists is his range. He moves comfortably across categories, equally at home developing fine fragrance, personal care, and home care scents. He lives in East Hanover, New Jersey.

How Kevin composes
Kevin brings a consumer products sensibility to his formulations, prioritizing broad appeal without sacrificing sophistication. His fruity compositions have drawn particular attention, characterized by bright, confident character and an immediacy that grabs attention. He balances that initial impact with structure, so his fragrances feel composed rather than chaotic. Electric Rouge exemplifies his approach: vibrant, layered, and undeniably alive. His work suggests someone who understands that commercial success and artistic integrity need not be opposing forces.

What drives Kevin
Kevin does not believe in staying in one lane. He takes genuine pleasure in the variety that cross-category perfumery offers, describing the profession as one where no two days unfold the same way. That unpredictability drives him. He seems energized by the freedom inherent to the craft, treating each new brief as an opportunity to solve a different problem. This restless curiosity keeps his work feeling fresh and responsive to real consumer needs, rather than retreating into familiar formulas.
