Every house has done a fresh fragrance. The problem is most of them stop there, the opening shine, then blank. Eau Sauvage Cologne is different. François Demachy put all the energy in the top but made sure the heart has substance and the base has weight. It doesn't smell like most colognes, which smell like air fresheners and waiting rooms. Dior's version smells like it just walked in from the Mediterranean coast in the sunshine, citrus and woody depth coexisting, making you remember this isn't your grandfather's herbal remedy.Eau Sauvage
This one doesn't try to impress you. The grapefruit is honest, bright without being aggressive. The woody base is warm without showing off, built on vetiver and cedar that give it real staying power.Collection Homme/Fruit de Bois
